Quality of the drivers mentioned that the cause of the weak sides of this long compared to Honda to Yamaha Team. But according to Honda boss Shuhei Nakamoto, weakening their chassis also became a big factor.
In the 2009 MotoGP season, Honda can not do much to block the rate of the duo Yamaha, Valentino Rossi and Jorge Lorenzo. Both drivers were seized public attention associated with intense competition in both the standings and on the track.
Honda is only able to put Dani Pedrosa (ranked third) in the top five drivers in the final standings. Andrea Dovizioso while only able to secure the sixth position.
